There Goes The Neighborhood

In a bold yet expected move, MTV has is finally trying to reclaim the title of the place to go for your music video fix. Although armageddon hasn’t arrived just yet because this music video revolution is not on the TV in HD, but rather on the net. No longer will we have to suffer the unbearable resolution of YouTube, or the useless search UI of Pitchfork; MTV Music has brought it all under one roof, easily searchable and interactive. I’m not sure what this means for the MV market, or it’s constituents, but I will tell you that it’s now 100 times easier to get your visual fill of Axel Rose, Michael Jackson, or Morrissey. The possibilities are endless and now you and your friends can all have your very own music video blogs.
Although there is one video that is keeping MTV Music from being the end all stop for my music video cravings. One of the best videos ever made, check it out!

on a related note, i’m really excited about whitney (from the hills) having her own spin-off show, the city. rumors are that the hills is nearing it’s end, but the best character having her own show doesn’t make that news so sad. everyone loves whitney the best!
SRO, any news on when the city will start???
