I really miss BSS. It’s been years since I crushed hard on You Forgot It In People and I’m still not over it. I hope I never do. I also probably miss them because it’s been 3 years since they’ve put out a proper release, instead busying themselves with supporting the continual off-shooting side projects of their musical collective. Last year it was Kevin Drew, and today it’s Brendan Canning. I’m not complaining, I dig both those albums but neither are able to knock BSS completely out of my heart.
Well, thanks to Juan and his basement once again brining the cool and giving us a taste of BSS, reminding us why we fell in love with them in the first place. Enjoy this live rendition of ‘Stars and Sons’, recorded last Fall on their tour for Kevin Drew.
