2008 L.A. Film Festival:
Music Video Lineup

For the past few years, we’ve been attending the L.A. Film Festival watching various films and covering the pertinent music video showings. This year will be no different, as we’ll be there in full effect (most likely running late for each screening). Also as with each year, we encourage you to come out and support the directors and videos playing, as well as chat us up, high five us, punch us, buy us a few drinks or all of the above.

Just so you know what you’ll be getting into, we’ve given you the rundown of what videos will be shown and what subject the spotlight will be on this year (after the jump). Last year James covered the P. Daughty Spotlight. Read it to prepare or just read it anyways. I hear your IQ raises a point and a half if you do. If you want to know more, go to the official site and check the full lineup. Or, wait until it gets closer and keep an eye out for SRO’s Guide to the 2008 L.A. Film Festival, where we’ll tell you what to put your money on and what to look out for.

In the meantime, check the list a few times over. Tell us what you think is missing or what is a waste of space. Not that we have any control over the inventory, but still, we’d like to hear what y’all think.
