The Weekly Haps

(Weekly news filter, in case you missed anything. We know that ‘Notables‘ section is a little inconspicuous.)
Citizen Simpson
For anyone who’s a fan of the Simpson’s and film. (Should be everyone in the world.) Check out the frame-by-frame list of all their homages(?) to movies. Our current faves include Dracula, The Lost Boys and Cape Fear. Although it changes every minute. [Neenja]
Feist Daughters
We totally slept on this short interview Subterranean did with Patrick “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” Daughters concerning “I Feel It All“. We on the other hand, feel all the pain of such a tiny peek. [Subterranean Blog]
Funny Girls
Vanity Fair’s newest issue is set to get our hopes up again about the existence of funny girls who are imaginative, smart and also ridiculously good looking. One of the funniest/hottest behind-the-schemes videos of a photo shoot. [Vanity Fair]
On The Chuck Again.
Lately it seems that the Klosterman has lost some of his writing flair and gone straight edge. Not that that’s bad, it’s just, that’s what he was known for. Still, it’s nice to see him take on a film genre i’m sure most people love. The Road Movie. [Believer]
Perch on Pershing
I know I have heard the album (Pershing) and it’s fantastic, yet still growing. Our pal Kevin over at the Pelican’s Perch had a sit down with the boys (Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin) and tells all about it, plus talks about the new album. Apparently everyone is either from Springfriend, or has family there. Yo Kevin, let’s hang out next time I’m in town. I’ll throw you a party or something. [Pelican's Perch]
