This video is as solid as they come. I’ll just pretend that it is some new Destroyer song and forget that it’s off of Challengers, because that album deserves to be forgot. Plus what’s really the difference between a Dan Bejar New Pornographers song and a Dan Bejar Destroyer song — nothing right, nothing but a bit of backing vocals and an instrument or two.

This is my favorite video of the moment. Something about the animation just screams quality. Plus Dan Bejar has a fro and it changes color along with the rest of him, plus there are cool effects. Not sure why I like it, but it just works for me. Animated by the crew over at Fluorescent Hill, these guys do some trump work. We posted on their Cadence Weapon video a ways back. Give them some love.
