Say what you will about Kanye West, but I give him much props. People say his ego is larger than the world, but to work at his level and to keep himself motivated, that ego is almost necessary. It can get tiring trying to convince people of how great you and your work are, but we Kanye keeps the machine running. And even better, he keeps trying to one up himself, which can only make it better for his audience.

Take the Grammy’s for example.Check out the Music Video Grammy Winners over at VideoStatic and see what a fuckin’ croc those 2 awards are. Who in world would want to watch that shit. It’s like the Oscars of music and still, who really gives a fuck. Actually being there to meet all of the celebs sounds more appealing than sitting through that show. Of course, Kanye walked with his 10th Grammy Award (although not the “Big One” that eludes him to this day), which is almost routine now. But what this stupid show and the old people involved made us miss, was a dual performance by K-Dub one which held a little gift at the end. If you missed out like everyone else, and haven’t heard, check his performance for “Stronger” and read along after.

Update: You’re too slow. Shit got taken down, and only a crappy version is available. Another testament to why you need to be up in our business stat! Maybe next time.

Oh shit! The glowing jacket! Those light up sunglasses! That outfit was the shit, although, how can you go wrong with a Tron-like Daft Punk backing you. And don’t get me started on that touch screen dj ridiculousness! God if anyone of those celebs were drunk or fucked up on ecstasy, this performance worked to their benefit. Shit was so outta hand, even the Hanks family couldn’t resist!

Ok, we also got a nice little treat for y’all with a teaser for everyone’s favorite song to spin to, “Flashing Lights”. Most people are putting this up as the video, but if you notice, it’s just shy of 3 minutes. The song is actually just shy of 4 minutes. So we’ll post this for now, just so you know how on top of things we are. And later, when we get the full shit, we’ll bust it out for y’all and put up a proper post. Word-Booty!

    yeah i was one of the very few who actually saw it when it aired. but i swear i only watched him. Anddd…. it was amazing. like gives me the chills amazing. He also actually sang sang which was weird at first but then you find out it was about his mom and it was really depressing/sweet.
