Video Round Up #2
Editors Note: In the hopes of giving some up-and-coming directors and artists some love, we are starting a Video Round Up feature which is basically what it sounds like. We take a handful of the videos we received in the mail that week and say a few words and rank them according to whatever we feel is important at the moment. Check the clips out and then tell us what you think. Show us some love.

4th Place: The Boggs – Remember The Orphans (Dir:???)
Once you watch the video you will understand why this video was at the bottom. But damn that’s a lot pictures and a lot of work. Overall the video had no where to go.
3rd Place: The Rascals – Suspicious Wit (Dir: ???)
This video makes me want to find the book of the dead, read it, talk to Aristotle and Nostradamus to find out what’s going on.
2nd Place: Robbers On High Street – Crown Victoria (Dir: Jason Argyropoulos)
This video has one of the coolest effects I’ve seen because it’s not pretending to be from a projector, it is from a projector. Let’s here what Jason Argyropoulos has to say “The band was optically projected into a miniature set to create the video. The technique required the cutting of many screens to hold the projected light.” What he meant to say was how totally B.A. he was and how the ladies love his videos and we like him too. He was even kind enough to provide a Quicktime link. We know how you guys love your Apple products.
1st: The Young Knives – Up All Night (Dir: thirtytwo)
For about a minute and a half I hated this video. It looked like it was going to be a rip off of Four Winds by Patrick Daughters. Then awesomesauce happened. I don’t even want to spoil it that’s how good it is.
