Thanks to Fader for getting the following shots off the set of Lavender Diamond’s shot for “Open Your Heart”. I highly doubt it has anything to do with Madonna’s version, but that would be terribly interesting if you asked me. It seems to be a happy affair that could be the rival to Feist’s “1234” shot for most color friendly video of the year. Go check out the song and add it to your myspace profile before it lands on Grey’s Anatomy or a Target commercial. Check out a few more pics over at Fader.com and tell them we sent you.     My buddy took part in this video and he said there was a, “splattering of indie chicks there” specifically rock chicks like the chick from the bird and the bee, the beautiful Sia of course since she directed the video, singer from io echo in the yellow dress, and he said he thought he saw the chick from the Gossip but i don’t see her in any of the pictures. Everyone featured must have been friends with the band. If i had a band and we were going to make a video I’d probably do the same just make it one big fucking kegger.

    Good idea Petey. Actually, I’d find a way to make everything a kegger, or at least some sort of crazy party. Although I’d probably make it a costumed one, those are always the best…if you can remember them.
