Clinic have always been able to capture my attention with each subsequent release. Hardly ever do I think I have what it takes to understand what they do as a whole, let alone enjoy them in the first place. However, it’s also their mysteriousness that brings me back each time, fulfilling my better days of the intrigue that is so rarely found in my life. Who are these masked men? What goes on in their minds? Where will they take us next? Will I ever know what the hell they’re talking about? Curiouser and curiouser…

The video for the 3rd single off of their latest release Visitations, maintains the ever strange and bizzare vibe that these men shrouded in secrecy purvey to the masses. ((Hell, even the director is unkown at this time. Lets uncover this mystery first gang!)) Yet somehow, despite being quite random, each shot seems to relate to each other if not logically, certainly thematically. I dunno, like I said, this stuff is way past me although no matter how much I would love to see the treatment for this, I highly doubt it would really clear anything up.

The fellas come to the Troubadour in L.A. on March 2nd, and I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be an experience in itself. If anyone from the Clinic camp is reading this, it’d be wicked sweet of y’all to reserve a photo pass for us as I’m sure we could wrangle some engaging photos for sure! If luck shines on our side, then we’ll expect to see most of you cats there representing. We’ll keep ya posted…
