Yay! Our first contest!! Yeah, its not really our contest in the official hosting sense, but it is still our first contest that could feature you and your work on our website!! And who better to kick this off with, than The Decemberists!

Yesss, everyones favorite non-sellout sellouts! What better way to make your mark on the music video scene and put your solo production company (complete with Witty/Sarcastic moniker) on the map! All you have to do is head over to MTvU (Yes, the one part of MTv that tries to play videos…sometimes.), fill out the proper paperwork, fill in the green area of the video to your little hearts desire and send it to the proper authorities. ((All by December 15th of course.))

Then cross your fingers, pray to the heavens, and await the official decision of Colin and the rest. If chosen, your video will be played once or twice on MTvU (maybe) and you will have a fun story to tell your kids. What’s really important here, is that on top of that, the winner (you?) will be the proud owner of a new iMac Intel Core Duo. Fuckin’ Awesome.

Lastly, for the most part, the greatest part of said contest is viewing your finished product on the mighty front page of ye favorite video bloge…..SRO! You know you want to be here, and you know we wanna talk shit on you for being more proactive than us. So get that video in you and put them somewhere off the chain! Make Daddy proud!
