The Streets – Prangin’ Out
(Dawn Shadforth)

I know I’m not alone when I say that I hate when I’m missing something and then I’m reminded days, maybe even weeks later of what it is, yet I continue to forget and the cycle persists endlessly. Basically, this is my situation with The Streets (aka Mike Skinner…if the pic above didn’t already clue you in) and his latest album The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living. I’ll be damned if it came out earlier this year and I have yet to get my grubby little hands on it. Forgive me bloggers, for I have sinned.
As of now, it seems Mr. Skinner is the only rapper on the creamy side of the oreo to come correct as of late. Eminem is bearly floating about the airwaves as he prepares his comeback. Lady Sov (‘the biggest midget in the game’) totally sold herself out by softening up and put herself in the number one spot on TRL (wtf??). And Vanilla Ice? Well, he’s off to Reality TV Town again (did you expect anything less?).
In this shot directed by Ms. Shadforth (of Can’t Get You Out of My Head fame) we see Skinner Prangin’ (or Trippin’ for those who only speak American ghetto) within the confines of a pricey little loft. I guess it’s hard when your paper runs away from you and you have to chase after it in your cute slippers. I wouldn’t know, i’m mexican, we aren’t allowed slippers (let alone nice furry ones for that matter). We can dream though. Enjoy kiddies!
