Chrome Children Live (SXSW 2006) - Part I (Madlib)

This past year at the hipster infested SXSW festival, the union of Adult Swim and the Stones Throw record label celebrated with a rap/hip-hop bash featuring MED, Madlib, MF DOOM, Peanut Butter Wolf, and others. The whole event was captured in grand fashion and the footage was included on this years release of Chrome Children. We have decided to bring it to you in a three part series so stay tuned over the next week for all three installments. Part I features Madlib, showcasing his rhyming skills and warming up all the hip-hoppers for an encounter with MF DOOM. If you enjoy these clips, make sure you go out and buy the CD/DVD release, not only for the show, but also for the strong tracks that have been assembled by Peanut Butter Wolf & Co.

Unfortunately, we can’t offer you this download anymore… you’re just going to have to pick up Chrome Children for yourself. We humbly suggest ordering it off of Korean TV:

(Thanks, Pete)

Go buy this album already, Banana Hands!

Jeff from stonesthrow: we’re having trouble getting ahold of you (the email keeps getting bounced). Email us again if you’re not getting anything and give us an alternate email address if you can. Thanks.
