White Stripes vs. Bart Simpson

We usually don’t mess with the embedded YouTube tomfoolery, or non-downloadable shenanigans, but for this we make an exception.

The White Stripes had a guest shot on the Simpsons last night which turned out to be far more than your typical musical guest spot. The whole thing is based off of Michel Gondry’s excellent video for the Hardest Button to Button and may be one of the most mainstream marriages of music video and popular culture since MTV started sucking. Check it out:
