Gnarls Barkley - Gone Daddy Gone (Chris Milk)

Disney, in association with Pixar Animation, are proud to present the follow-up to one of the most beloved films of all time, A Bug’s Life. In A Bug’s Life 2: Quest for the Gash, we find a whole new cast of lovable bugs setting off on a magical adventure to drop the Staff of Ecstasy into Mount Hotness in order to eliminate the Curse of Stiffness that has been put on the Bug community. Our heroes are unlikely band of misfits, Literally! Gnarls Flea’s band was down in the dumps playing, stuck playing shows for nobody in Golden Retriever Club, so he and his friends Spiky Guitar Bug, Little Drummer Bug, and of course the lovable Danger Mouse Bug come up with a promotional tour whereby they claim they will end the curse of Stiffness by inventing the fake Mount Hotness and pretending to tour their way to it! Of course, the band has no intention of ending the curse and are just looking to make a quick buck, but they soon find themselves running for their life on their journey as various enemies try to prevent them from ending the curse (even though they were just pretending!).

The band soon has a change of heart when Gnarls falls in love with a beautiful giant. He then decides he must end the curse so he can be with his love. However, the giant turns out to be the real Mount Hotness! Hilarity and hijinx ensue as Gnarls and the gang try to save Mount Hotness while she’s trying to kill them at the same time! It’s a fun adventure for the whole family, with a strong, heartfelt message you can only expect from Disney/Pixar: Hit that shit, or die trying. A Bug’s Life 2: Quest for the Gash is now in theaters.

I hate bugs, however, I was cool with this in an odd way. Maybe it was Mount Hotness. Maybe it was Danger Mouse Bug. Who knows. But either way, shit was tight. Ok George go ahead and comment on the movie reference…..you know which one I’m talking about, we all know you have something to say.

FIGHT CLUB! FUCK YEAH! Gnarls Barkley loves movies. Everything they do has to be reference back to some movie and awesome movies at that. No hate today, maybe tomorrow.

George left a comment completely devoid of hate. Black is white, up is down… I’m freaking out.

And thanks for making the movie reference that couldn’t fit into my “back of the Disney DVD” style post.
