“I’ll Believe in Anything” from Apologies to the Queen Mary from media darlings Wolf Parade. Oh hell yes. “I’ll Believe in Anything” is arguably the greatest song on that record so it’s great to see it get some video love. The SRO crew just saw Wolf Parade at The Wiltern in LA and they were fantastic. When Spencer puts on the headband you know the Parade are killing it. You also know the Parade are killing it when Los drunkenly sneaks into the floor section and proceeds to make rap hands for the band’s whole set. Good times.
For the video, Matt Moroz seems to have raided the set of Marie Antoniette and pilfered their wardrobe trailer in order to take us back to an era of duels and white wigs. [Visit Shots Ring Out to read the rest…]

New-ish video from the Long Winters, from their new release Putting the Days to Bed. Get it while it’s hot. Why don’t record labels like to give directors credit? Why do I always have to hunt for this information? I’m going to make some calls and I’ll get back to you on that one.

The video for the Format’s The Compromise off their new album Dog Problems has just dropped. Do I even need to tell you when the videos feature stop-motion anymore? From now on, I’ll just mention when the videos don’t have stop-motion. It will be easier on all of us.
