I’ve had a soft spot in my heart labled Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy for quite some time now. His I See a Darkness is one of my favorite records to be sad to and his earlier work in Palace Music is just as good for crying. His real name is Will Oldham and no matter the moniker he records under, his music is enchanting despite its sometimes sparse and barren composition. His voice is the lynch pin to enjoying his music. You either love or despise it, but either way he is musical force you must appreciate. My recommendation would be to go out and pick up I See a Darkness and if you cant get behind that then quit listening to music.

You should listen to Justin Roelofs because he used to be in the band the Anniversary until he fucked the Keyboardist which caused their label to drop them, and they thus broke up. So right there you guys should be on board because the man’s dick has power… the power to change lives. It’s a story worth telling, so I’ll tell it.
