You know how you go see a movie or band or an event that normally you would have skipped, because supposedly this girl/guy/it may be “into” you, and then afterward not only do you regret what you saw, but you find that said individual either A) just wants to be friends, B) doesn’t give a shit about you, 1 or C) gives you no indication whatsoever (thus returning you back to square one)? Well, in case you haven’t, conveniently the same exact situation somehow happened to me (suprise!), only instead of regretting what I saw and encountering option B (and yes it was a she), I actually enjoyed what I saw, even though I had no idea what I saw. 2 I also found out a few other fun facts, for instance:
- James may be onto something when he says the singer of the Blood Arm is my exact replica, of course assuming I had continued to grow my hair out rather than “pussing out”, or so I’ve been told…
- My dancing once again can put a stop to any adventurous frontman who dares come my way (Take That! Nathaniel and Cex!!)
- Apparently, the energy of The Blood Arm does not translate well outside of their live show.
- I guess a fun loving outlook x damn sexy looks + good times = avoid contact at any cost. Weird.
- We Are Scientists (WAS) are fucks. 3 Having trouble understanding? Allow me to use that in a sentence, “WAS are a bunch of funny fucks.” or “WAS are some smart ass fucks.” or even better, “WAS are some cool fucks.” Get it now? Good.
“It’s a Hit”, is one of two videos (that’s right two bitches) for the song, made in support of their steaming hot new album With Love and Squalor , that is if you like to dance and have fun, of course. So far most of their stuff has been directed by Shaffer (more about him later, keep it in your pants kids) and that my friends is a good thing. This video is fun, funny, badass, and fucked up, just the way I like ‘em. So cross your hearts and savor the flavor kids…

I like videos that have only the smallest correlation with the song. This video wants to make me think, and then lets me know that I am a fool for trying so that somehow the lyrics “It’s a hit.” and someone actually getting hit has a correlation. That correlation being that they both use the same word but are working with different definitions. Is while looking like an correlation means nothing. The video is making meaning in the watcher not in the director.
it is SO WEIRD how you never see the hammer hit the bell. you know the hammer hit the bell, but in actuality it just looks like it’s blurrily floating over the bell the entire time.
