This here is a great example of when a good video happens to a mediocre-at-best band. On paper, I should fucking love this band. Dance music, girl singer, and tons of sexual tendencies. I guess it sounds too good to be true. ‘Jetsetter’ is a much better song, and this one could’ve been up there if it weren’t for the dumbass, high pitched “Heavy Metal Angel” lyric sung by the guitarist in the chorus. That’s not even funny in a “We’re trying to be funny,” way. The singer, Chantal, almost saves it with her hot-as-fuck “Ohhh Harder!” line, but that scream-guy comes back and ruins it. I hate him.
But I digress. This is one of those videos where you go, “Damn, why didn’t I think of that,” which is usually a good sign. The idea is simple, and it changes, thus keeping you interested. I commend WORMSEYE (who also did the “Jetsetter” video) for their work. For me this would be the line in acceptable music videos, anything less would be average or just plain forgettable.
Update: Wormseye has called it quits and gone their separate ways. Let’s hope each person can keep up the quality on their own.

I’m sure the line is supposed to be funny because it sung by different people in the video, also due to the fact that they are making fun of different genres of music. You’re right, why didn’t I think of that. I mean all you would need is a band to perform for you, a sound stage so your could create over twenty different locations, along with all the props to create that affect, with an editor who can make those images appear or records (I’m tired of editing anyway), and various other filming equipment. Damn I should have thought of that.
Okay, this video was a great idea, but for some reason it really bothers me. It may just be the people in the band… i dunno. But something about it just doesnt sit right.
I’ve heard of this band before, but had never actually heard them, until now. Final verdict: they suck. Next!
After watching the bad video i can honestly say i did not like their music or the video. the girls voice is annoying and i didnt like the layout of the video.
